  • Your relationships will greatly improve. As you understand yourself better, you’ll be able to explain to others your needs and challenges and ask for the support you need from them

What if you don’t change anything?

  • Health issues and burnout from constant overwhelm and unhelpful stress management strategies

  • Relationship problems by being unable to explain behaviors or reactions that are caused by your ADHD and not knowing what to ask for from your family, friends, and partner

  • Living a life that is just “ok“, constantly thinking of all the things you could be and achieve if only you could trust yourself and let go of the fears holding you back…

What do my clients say

about working with me?

  • “Working with Carmen these past two months has been amazing. Before meeting her, I really struggled to blend my career with the rest of my life. She's shown me how to bring everything together in a way that feels balanced and right. It's been a game-changer, especially with my ADHD.

Her coaching isn't just about managing symptoms; it's about using them to grow both personally and professionally. Our weekly chats have given me a new perspective on life, and I've seen such a positive change in my work and overall happiness.

Carmen, thank you for being more than just a coach. Thank you for being a guide, and a supportive friend, for all the understanding, skills, and personalized advice that have made such a big difference in my life."

  • “I recommend Carmen’s coaching with my whole heart. As a new mother, the sessions I had with her have helped me sort through my feelings and thoughts and allowed me to assess and prioritize my wishes and needs according to my new life circumstances.

In addition, I really appreciated that Carmen has been very approachable and supportive throughout the entire process.”

  • “I had a couple of coaching sessions with Carmen during a time when I had to make an extremely challenging life decision.

She helped me weigh all my options and we narrowed in on my strengths and core values to ensure I incorporated those into my decision as well.

Carmen is such a calm and well-organized person. She is always present at the moment and very in tune with people when she does her coaching. She is very observant and has a keen way of engaging with her audience.

She is skillful in what she does as a Life and Career Coach, and I would love to work with her again.

She helped me grow into a person who is embracing what they really want in life."

  • “I often felt like I was not enough, that there was something wrong with me simply because I couldn’t function like others. It was when I suspected I had ADHD that I met Carmen, and I’m super grateful I did. Finding a safe space to talk about this and understanding that I’m not alone feels really helpful and freeing.

Our sessions have always been encouraging, moving, and inspiring! I got to learn a lot about myself and, when needed, she also shared some of her personal experience and the tools she uses to manage her own symptoms.

I love that there is always a structure to our conversations and actionable steps that I can focus on right after our session.

My favorite thing is that she really takes the time to be present, make the conversation a safe space and I always feel heard.

I recall a time when I bawled my tears out because I had recently experienced something intense and she made me feel very comfortable to just let my feelings out and take time to regulate my emotions. And then she guided me to find the strategies I needed to help me in that moment.

After every session with her, I always feel better and more hopeful about facing my challenges.”

  • “I've had the privilege of working with several coaches in the past but often found myself feeling even more overwhelmed and uncertain after the sessions.

In contrast, Carmen has helped me gain clarity and a fresh perspective. She has a great ability to select the right tools and pose insightful questions. Moreover, Carmen is very kind and committed to guiding towards effective solutions.”

  • “Carmen is positively focused, asks great questions, and explores topics with ease. As a relatively private individual, I found talking through matters with her more comfortable than usual. She is both persuasive and gentle in her approach and calibrates a course of action specific to individual circumstances. She is professional, approachable, and has a cheerful communication style making interactions easy-flowing and an enjoyable experience.”

Frequently asked questions

  • Initially, I trained as a Personal and Business coach with Barefoot Coaching Ltd.

This training has equipped me with insights into a broad range of coaching methodologies and psychological theories underlying coaching. I am well-versed in various coaching strategies, ideas, tools, and techniques, allowing me to tailor my approach to meet the specific needs and goals of each client.

After I finalized my personal and business coaching certification, I went on to specialize in ADHD coaching. I studied at ADDCA (ADD Coach Academy), where I developed my “ADHD coaching lense”: I gained invaluable insights into the neuroscience behind the ADHD brain wiring, and learned numerous tools and strategies developed specifically to support clients with ADHD.

Embracing the motto "Beware the person of one book," I reject a one-size-fits-all approach to coaching. Instead, I believe in the power of versatility and adaptability, recognizing that every client is unique and requires a personalized approach. Having both traditional and ADHD coaching background gives me a plethora of tools, techniques and methodologies which I can apply and adapt to my clients’ needs.

  • This is something that we can define/refine together in our first call. Here is a generic guide:

    -            We will have regular calls on Teams (weekly in the beginning)

    -            In between sessions, we will use an app to track progress on the actions we established during our sessions

    -            We will regularly track and review the progress towards your goal (we will establish metrics together)

    -            I will send you regular e-mail reminders for accountability or to check on progress (if needed)

    -            I will send you pre- and post-session questionnaires, to make sure we make the most of our time together

If this sounds like a lot, don’t worry! We can adapt as we go along – it is important to define together what kind of support you need from me, and how we can best collaborate.

  • While individual experiences vary, many clients start seeing significant improvements within 3 months of weekly coaching sessions.

  • Traditional coaching and ADHD coaching both aim to support individuals in achieving their goals and enhancing their quality of life. However, they differ in their focus, strategies, and techniques tailored to the unique needs of individuals with ADHD.

    Focus:

    • Traditional Coaching typically focuses on goal-setting, action planning, and accountability. It may address a wide range of personal or professional goals, such as career advancement, time management, or relationship improvement.

    • ADHD Coaching specifically addresses the challenges associated with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It recognizes the neurobiological differences in individuals with ADHD and aims to develop strategies to manage symptoms, improve executive functioning skills, and optimize daily functioning.

    Strategies and techniques:

    • Traditional Coaching may employ various strategies such as motivational interviewing, goal visualization, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help clients overcome obstacles and achieve their objectives.

    • ADHD Coaching utilizes specialized strategies tailored to the unique needs of individuals with ADHD. These may include techniques for improving focus and attention, organization and time management skills, emotion regulation strategies, and creating structured routines to enhance productivity.

    Understanding ADHD:

    • Traditional Coaching: While traditional coaches may have a general understanding of ADHD, they may not possess specialized knowledge or training in effectively addressing the specific challenges associated with the condition.

    • ADHD Coaching: ADHD coaches have expertise in understanding the nuances of ADHD, including its impact on executive functioning, emotional regulation, and interpersonal relationships. They are equipped with specific tools and approaches to support individuals in navigating ADHD-related difficulties and capitalizing on their strengths.

In summary, while traditional coaching provides valuable support in goal attainment and personal development, ADHD coaching offers specialized assistance tailored to the unique needs of individuals with ADHD, helping them manage symptoms, overcome challenges, and thrive in various aspects of life.

  • I have standard packages for new customers, which you can see here - link.

I recommend starting with a three-month package of weekly sessions because it can give you the best results:

     -           It allows us more focused time in the beginning to understand what ADHD looks like for you

    -            I can share with you the knowledge (if and when needed) on the neuroscience behind ADHD: why and how certain behaviors come to be and why certain strategies work better for ADHD-ers than others

    -            Meeting weekly means you can try new strategies and systems between sessions, then we can look together at your results and (if needed) adapt until we find what works best for you

The aim is that at the end of the 12 sessions (13.5 hours in total), you will have the knowledge you need about your unique brain wiring and the tools and systems you need so you can coach yourself on most topics.

Most of my clients feel confident transitioning to a session every second or every third week after our initial three months together. These are the packages available for returning customers: link.
